Glutathione-S-thiol transferase is a valuable tag for the production of intracellular proteins in E. coli. A great advantage is that expressed fusion proteins are often soluble, at least to some extent.
In analogy to the BioReference HIS kit the GST kit is designed for the quantification of GST-tagged proteins on Western blots and ELISA plates.
Provided are a pure GST protein preparation and a highly specific polyclonal anti-GST-antibody.
