BioReference Cryo Vials Bacteria

Our Cryo Vials are filled with approx. 25 glas beads. These are specially etched and pretreated to ensure maximum adhesion of microorganisms to the bead surface. The beads are covered by a cryo-protectant solution. The user adds 0.5 ml of a liquid culture or a suspension from a surface culture. The mixture is agitated and 0.5 ml of the liquid removed. The beads are easily removed with sterile forceps or an inoculation wire through the central bore of the bead.

The Cryo Vials are supplied in two variants: one adapted for bacteria, one adapted for fungi.
