Bovine serum albumin, sterile filtered & PCR-grade

This 10% (w/v) solution of bovine serum albumin (Cohn V fraction, pH7) is not just filter sterilized. Each lot is tested for the absence of contaminating human DNA (target: human mitochondrial DNA). The limit of detection of this test is 1 pg of DNA from whole blood corresponding to 0,1 leucocytes or 0,1 epithelial cells per test.
For use in PCR reactions. In concentrations of 0,01% - 0,08 % (100-800 mg/ml) suitable to relieve PCR inhibition of many known inhibitors (1,2,3)
