BSA, 10 % w/v


 Bovine serum albumin, sterile filtered & PCR-grade.
This 10 % (w/v) solution of bovine serum albumin (Cohn V fraction, pH 7) is not just filter-sterilized. Each lot is tested for the absence of contaminating human DNA (target: human mitochondrial DNA). The limit of quantitation (LOQ) of this test is approx. 1 pg of DNA from whole blood corresponding to 10 cells.

For use in PCR reactions. In concentrations of 0.01 % - 0.08 % (100-800 µg/ml) suitable to relieve PCR inhibition of many known inhibitors (1,2,3)
