Ready-to-use molecular weight marker for SDS-PAGE. Contains a set of 8 recombinant proteins with defined sizes of 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 150 kDa providing clear sharp bands.
A prestained band of approx. 30 kDa is included for easily controlling gel run.
The marker allows accurate size determination of unknown proteins and is adjusted to give equal band intensity with Coomassie blue staining except for the 40 kDa band which has doubled intensity.
For a standard mini-gel (approx. 10 x 10 cm) 5 µl are optimal suited.
For silver staining procedures 1 µl of the product is sufficient and should be diluted with 1x Lämmli buffer to 5 µl. |
