Ready-to-use molecular weight marker for SDS-PAGE. Contains a set of 8 recombinant proteins with defined sizes of 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 150 kDa providing clear sharp bands.
The marker allows accurate size determination of unknown proteins and is adjusted to give equal band intensity with Coomassie blue staining except for the 40 kDa band. For easier orientation the 40 kDa band has doubled intensity.
For a standard mini-gel (approx. 10 x 10 cm) 5 µl are optimal suited.
For silver staining procedures 1 µl of the product is sufficient and should be diluted with 1x Lämmli buffer to 5 µl. |
